Andrew is known internationally for his work with straw bale construction.  As the co-founder of www.StrawBale.com, he has helped teach thousands of people how to build their own beautiful straw bale home through his professional consulting services, DVD series, and hands-on workshops.  Andrew has gathered a wealth of experience in designing and building both conventional and straw bale homes over his more than twelve years as a general contractor and green developer.   

Andrew is a dynamic and experienced teacher.  He has personally worked with hundreds of men and women from around the world and helped them overcome obstacles in order to accomplish their own "great tasks."   Building a house is a demanding and challenging process.  Andrew understands that this process is both physical and emotional.  His own experiences help him relate to his clients in a way that supports them both technically and emotionally. 

Andrew owned A.C. Morrison Construction, LLC and A.C. Morrison Development, LLC from 1996-2007 at which time he closed his doors to focus entirely on consulting and teaching both professional builders and home owners.  He received a B.A. degree from Hampshire College in 1995 with a Glacial Geology thesis.  He also has a degree in Construction Technology from the College of the Redwoods.  Andrew is a dedicated father with two beautiful children and a wonderful wife.  He coaches youth ice hockey and hangs out with his family when he is not working.  Andrew is also a musician; which helps explain his ability to listen to his clients and his attention to detail.
